Audiopipe Ap1500d

New alt will be in next week... so I'll get some power ratings at 14.4V for ya'll.

Fuse rating is an external 100A... but that's conservative. If it were true, the amp would be fused at ~1000w of music power ...or 2/3 rated. I use 150A, since that's in-line with the power rating.

ok, hmm thats interesting, why would the give 100a fuse if thats not enough for what it is rated at?

If I can find an extra 100 amp fuse, I kinda want to melt one with proper gains, just to prove the improper fuse rating. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

What is the best way to pop a fuse? Long bass race?

I haven't ever done it, except for accidentally shorting to ground. Maybe I don't bump hard enough //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
