Audiopipe Ap1500d

Okay so I am really thinking of buying this audiopipe ap1500d on caraudiodeals. I am just needing to know if it does rated, and will it push my rd sonance 12's. They are d4 v2 wired to 1 ohm. I had a brutus 1606 on them and had to boost the bass on the hu to get them moving, which I didn't like. I have around 275-300 to work with so if I got this I plan on replacing all my 4 gauge with 0 gauge and possibly buying a new hu. My electrical consits of redtop up front, big3 in 4 gauge, 4 gauge to the kinetik hc600 in the back and 4 gauge going from batt to amp, which I don't have. If I got this amp I would have enough to get all the 0 gauge I need. I just need to know if it will do the job. Thanks guys.

They will do rated, but arent your subs 1kRMS?

Well on the site it says 500-1k rms so idk.

I think it will do more power than the Brutus. The 06 line of Hifonics were pretty overrated, and the AP should do right around rated.

Iwould go with the audiopipe 3000d there about 300 on ebay new that should be anough power

Lol sorry for the threads guys, but I don't have enough room for the 3000, but im going to try to order it tm I will let you guys know how it goes. Also does anyone know the fuse rating on the 1500, and I will prob be needing some wire soon to the guy with the wire could you pm me some prices. Thanks

Sorry for double post. I just ordered the knu 1/0 fleks kit with a 250 amp fuse, hope that will be enough for the amp.

Okay so I got the knu fleks 0 gauge in and my amp came today. All I can say is wow. I can't believe that little amp can put out that much. I can't even turn the gains past half before it starts bottoming the subs out bad. At first I was like its cuz my low is turned up too much on my head unit, but then I looked at it and it was all the way down. I had to turn the low up and bass boost to get them loud with the brutus. I did have to turn the subsonic up though cuz those really low notes sounded bad, and didn't sound too healthy for the subs lol. Anyways I love this amp, couldn't find a better deal. I will post some vids tm once I get it dialed in a lil more.

you need to look at the gain-setting tutorial. your description of how things sound doesn't sound right at all and I think if you don't set the gains properly soon something will blow up
