Phoenix Gold TLD22 Line driver review!

Well i installed the Phoenix Gold TLD22 8v line driver. I have a sony deck that only outputs ~ 0.4v and most likely less on normal music. I bought the Phoenix Gold TLD22 for 30 bux shipped and it arrived a few days ago. I wasnt able to install it the last few days because of the horribly cold sub zero temperatures. I finally got around to installing it today and i must say that i am impressed. I tuned each channel to 4v exactly and the gain on the Phoenix Gold TLD22 was about half way up each channel.

My hifonics 1606d's gain used to be 80% turned up to get the output i needed. Now it achieves this at 1/4th just 20 to 25% turned up!

The bass actually is noticeably different. I cant really describe it but it sounds different than from before but it sounds great!

for 29 dollars this is a GREAT deal for those who need higher pre outs but are on a budget.

It worked GREAT for me. The bass sounds different than before..

Im not sure how good the unit is at amplifying the signal at full 8v so i just have mine set at 4v exactly and the level on the amp is barely 20% turned..

So i only needed a nice 4v. If i had it set to 8 the level on the amp would be pretty much turned to off, LOL.

Much better sound after imo, you wont regret it.
