Audio on Hold

Only think that was my fault was leaving my jacket on the ground. The rest wasn't my fault.
Several times I've almost been hit. Getting better at reading other drivers. When I come up to an intersection where a car is perpendicular to me, I slow down. On the open road, I crack the throttle.

When riding a bike, there are two types of drivers that are the most dangerous:

1. People making left turns who get half way through the turn, then hesitate.

2. People crossing or turning on to the lane you're driving in.

Otherwise, it's not bad riding a bike. It's a fun thing to do. I really enjoy riding my bike. I also like riding through campus taking my girlfriend to class. When she's with me, I drive wayyyy slower and am really cautious.

The interstate is great. I can turn a half hour drive into a 15 minute drive. Later this morning I'm going somewhere that's supposed to take 18 minutes. It'll probably take me 10.

If/when I settle down with someone, I'll stop riding. Otherwise, if I crash, I crash. It's not like I have a family that depends on me for support.

That's some shit
Dude I rode fast bikes my whole life and finally stopped a few years back. And its not IF you crash its WHEN you crash ! Streets are far to busy anymore but I do wish you the best of luck and hope that when that happens you do get a second chance. I also hope your wearing helmet and at least a leather jacket ?

I wear a helmet on long rides. The 5 minutes to work or campus I usually don't. I just wear my leather jacket when it's cold.

Yeah, town worries me the most. Interstate driving isn't bad though. I'm going to look at one or two CBR1000rr's this weekend. Going to drop around $4-$4.5k depending on which one I get. Plus another $500 in tax, title, & license //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Plans are getting another turbo, fabbing up the manifolds this winter, and having the local Honda dealer do the tune before riding season. Already talked to one of their techs. They have a dyno in house. After I get the bike, I'll have it dyno'd stock, do the mod, and see what I gain. Then I'll have some driveability tuning to do. I'll probably get a fatter rear tire and extend the swing arm to get a quicker takeoff. I won't go too extreme though, because I still want to be able to turn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yeah definitely dont go too wide. It looks cool af but it will ruin the handling. Ive been looking at getting another GSXR myself.

Stock is 190. For daily with more power, I think 240 would do nicely. I do like the look of 360's though. I'd probably go 6-8" over stock on the swing arm too. I don't like how a 12" over stock swing arm looks, but it would help with the geometry for going in a straight line.

I'd like to ride a stretched bike before I make the commitment though. I want to be able to go fast, while still being able to drive it around town.

Dude I cant believe your going there Really ? Hondas are the fords of bikes and I know you aint like that ?
Don't even compare Honda to Ford, lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Whew, after reading the "wall o words" I needed a break. You need to take care of yourself before you dump all your money on basically toys. But that is for you to figure out...possibly when you're 30 and wondering where all the money went.

Take a breath and think things through...you are going so fast you lose track, at least that is how I read your tale.

Good luck and go slow...

Got the CBR1000rr last night!
