Audio n00b here needing help

Not too informed in audio hook up, hope you guys can help.

I have an amp that I want to hook to a sub, which I know how to do, but how do I also hook up the same amp to my 6x9s? I'm clueless:stuck: Another quick question how can I hook up 2 small amps to my car? Thanks in advance, hopefully I'll get some more info searching through this forum.

If you have a 4 channel amp you can hook the sub to channels 3 & 4 for a bridged circuit. Then the 6x9's would go to the Left and Right front channels (1 & 2).

So in doing this I wouldnt use the stock 6x9 connecters right?

Wires? Probably not, everything needs to run to the amp....

I meant the connecters that go from the head unit to the 6x9's, the ones there from the factory. Thanks for the help too.

The wires from the speakers will need to go to the amp. Are you going to change out your deck?

is your hu stock??

You will have to run new wires from your 6x9s to the amp. your hu will only need 4 wires out of it, the batt, acc, ground, and remote (and the rca's). all of the other wires will go to the amplifier.

My head unit isn't stock, it's a Sony something...I really appreciate the help, hopefully everything will go smoothly.
