I call those 150's bs for kickers in a trunk.Even if they're solox's no kicker at 1500 true rms even with no clipping would ever hit 150 in a trunk. The efficiency of their subs just wouldn't cut it.

for the record I hit 168s in the port lmao

only 148.2 in the shield and 149.8 in the kick

you could probably get some boston g5s with 1500 rms to hit close to 150 or something of the sort.

i think i'm pretty loud for a trunk car.

was doing mid 40's on TL with one hk4000d now i'm on two ss xxx65000ds and it's right at 150db

My last setup was with two g5's hitting 147.6

You would be very surprised with their outcome at very very low wattage.

I only had 1200wrms to the lot. usamps md1d

I think thats pretty amazing.

You would need any other sub to be near 100db efficiency to hit 150's at 1500wrms with the two.

do you have the aluminum coils?

i figure you do. Those aq's sound great with one 2200 per sub ;] The coppers don't hold up at all though.

Are you speaking from experience? That statement is absurd! There has been nothing but Copper coils in these HD310's and in 4 yrs. have never burned up a coil. i use to run the aqs at 3k a piece daily. never burnt the coils

Are you speaking from experience? That statement is absurd! There has been nothing but Copper coils in these HD310's and in 4 yrs. have never burned up a coil. yeah your right it does a bit because they do hold up great....although

I personally have never burnt a coil either but compared to my neighbors hdc3 15 HD

and my old hdc3 A 15, after about 2 months of use with two AQ2200's on the HD, he did have a burnt coil and he rarely bumped, mostly burps for comp and for show etc. I got my orion and replaced my hdc3 A, he bought that and in comparison heats up less and thus far (4 months) have not had any problems with daily 4400k+wrms. I'm sure it will soon though. ha

i would really like to know what kind of numbers you are doing legit on the dash,i would say far from a 150 with only 1500 watts.to me there is no other way to test.people can post all these bs scores they want,but unless its on the dash dbdrag style,these numbers dont mean chit
