Yes...i have cured it.

I spend about 40 min figuring out how to stop this.

All you need is some CA glue and your annoying problem will be sloved.

All you do is glue the tinsel lead to the edge of the basket where the spider meets it.

If you dont believe me then try it yourself. You need to leave enough room for the woofer to move.

So leave some slack but not a lot. The eaisest way is to play some music and find the spot where it doesnt hit but has enough room.

If you dont understand i'll take a pic of my finger on the tinsel lead where it wont hit.

They sounded so nice w/o that nastyness

EDIT*

Pics added :

why not just bend it in half and glue it to the spider landing there? wouldnt that be much safer and look nicer? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Sounds like either 1) AA didn't do enough R&D to realize the problem, 2) they realized the problem and just didn't care, or 3) they realized the problem, but didn't think enough customers would push the drivers to the limit that the tinsel lead slap would be an issue.
