Att: Mustang owners!

yep 5x7s they sell plates so you can fit 5.25"s and then those 5x7 speakers with 4" mids and like 1" tweeters lol.

Just go buy a adapter plate so you can get some decent comps in there

I have some pretty nice Kenwood plates, man. Holler at me if you're interested...

Here dey be:

Sadly, sometimes you have to roll your own adapter plates because I have seen the cutouts for 6.5" speakers vary from 5" to as much as 6". IIRC, the Alpine Type R and X 6.5 component sets come with the plates as do the higher end Pioneer component speakers.

I had a buddy put in the 6.5's in but he did have to get an adapter plate. I heard someone say could put 6x9's in the rear of mine, and the doors are the same speaker, but i dont see how they would fit. I just bought JL audio C2 570x's for mine. It was a pain shopping around being limited to the one size. But you gotta get those paper speakers out of there. Wish i could be more help,

Btw my pp is fine, but uhhhh, someone else might love that. ;-)
