Att: box desgners

I need a box designed for my regular cab sierra. I have 55 3/4" length, 14" height, 10" bottom depth, and about 6" top depth. I wanna try a pored box for 6 8" 1008's getting 375 watts ea. will pay for time.

I don't know what those subs are (judging by the name, I'll assume DD?), but using 10" as a depth, you only have 4.5 cubes gross. It'll be more like high 3s if you max out the enclosure. 6 8s is a lot of speakers for only having limited area.

With those dimensions I only got 2.55 cubic feet NET.....

If you could bump your height up to about 20" then you would have 3.78 cubic feet NET which would give you alot more room to work with.......

Using the 10" of depth is assuming his 6" top depth is 10"........His depth is only 8".....10" bottom depth+6" top depth=16"/2"=8"

Total space equals:

55.75 x 10 x 14 = 7805/1728 = 4.52 cubes gross

If you account for wood:

54.25 x 8.5 x 12.5 = 3.33 cubes before port and woofer.

If you factor in a port tuned to 32hz out the side, you're looking at 1.9~ cubes before speakers.

ok, what would you suggest for a loud daily? I dont want to loose any seat room though, being that Im kinda tall, and its a reg cab. maybe 1 12 ported on a 2500d or something, just want it loud.
