im so trying to figure this enclosure out.

do you have a drawing of how the enclosure is suppose to look ones finished?

not really, just an idea...you can kinda see how it's going to go atm, but I'm piecing it together. The volume isn't exact, but I may add extra support if I need to lower it, and I can adjust the port size if need be.

But so far, it's tuned to about 25hz, about 9 cubes, I'll be tossing in more stuff to displace some of the extra space I have since I reduced the port size, I'll mount the amps near the port, and put the battery inside of the box.

And yes that is the port, about 35"s long.

Yup, that's the port, I'm gonna have to glass in the amp rack, I have some Ideas I wanna try for the front, but the hole there will remain as the sub will be firing upwards in the trunk.

alright, well you see the panel on the left sitting on the 2x4's? That's going all the way across, with about 2-3 layers of mdf. It'll be a false floor, and the sub will go in the middle firing up.

Sealed the front baffle to the rest of the enclosure, but then of course no more daylight.

how much clearance are you going to have from the top of the sub to the trunk door?. and from the bottom of the sub to the trunk floor?

Well, atm the door closes with just one layer of MDF, I'll probably do 2-3, so I may have to cut the wood down by the hinges. And the sub to the floor, there should be plenty of room, I'd say atleast 7 inches.
