ASA 1500.1 strapped

I've got the Powerbass asa1500.1, which came with a "media wire" to strap two amps together. I've also got a friend who wants to get 2 of these amps since he was impressed at how it powered my sub. And i've got a few questions: 1) When running the power and ground, can I just use a single power and ground wire split in two (he's got all 1/0 wire, and we'd split that into 2 runs of 4 gauge each for the amps)? 2) When i plug the "media wire" into the two amps, can I just set the master amp, and them settings will transfer to the other one so I don't have to set it too? 3) He's running 2 Fi Bl 18 D1's, so can he just hook them to one of the amps to get 3000 at 1 ohm strapped, or is there a way to hook them to each amp, but still get a final 1 ohm load?

It would be 3000@2ohms, running each amp at 1ohm. Strapping them at 1ohm would give each amp a .5ohm load which they dont really like.

So my question is now, is there a way to get that 3000 at 2 ohms by hooking the 2 woofers (Fi Bl d1) together to one amp, a sub per amp, or is that even possible to hook them for all 3000?
