are RE MT's more for spl or daily?

i remember that truck i learned alot of what i know today from that thingwat all have you done to it jacob?
Not an incredible amount yet, I was waiting for my subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Now that they are in production the plan is to use eight 15s and load them off the driver side wall, and move the build out to the passenger side so the whole port is on the driver side. I don't have an ETA on when I'll be starting, but thats the idea. Until then the MTs are doing a pretty fine job.

I have swapped out to SAX-100.4s and SAZ-3000Ds, re-wired all the speakers -- there are 10" mids in the doors and as-yet to be mounted Selenium horn tweeters in the dash.

Also re-built the alternator bracket as the belt was jumping off... caught up on alot of other mechanical issues (power steering, sensors, etc). Still needs a rear main seal and one tire is wearing oddly so I need to track that issue down.

A: They do relieve backpressure behind the cone. Leaving the pole capped or solid does create a less efficient subwoofer. Big motored subs like the MT can overcome this backpressure pretty easily. An SE on the otherhand wouldnt be so happy with such a large amount of backpressure.

B: Solid pole pieces would use almost 100% more material on some motors. Cost $$$$

Just finished re-building my exploded MT //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Testing a new glue on this one - it survived the initial test run. Will be taking it out to demo a bit tonight!
