Hello,
I am not exactly an expert on amp and subs so I just had a few questions.
I just had a new model TS-SW1041D 10" pioneer sub with custom box installed under my back seat in my ford F-150 supercrew. I am running a interfire 700 watt 4 channel amp. I installed polk 5" X 7" s in the doors and wanted to get some watts to them while keeping the stock head unit.
The installer set them up to where the sub is all on the right channel and all 4 door speakers on the left in mono.
My question is: is this pretty standard to due?
I was not aware it was going to go that way but I guess with a 4 channel amp it is the best way to get the most power to the sub?
If I wanted it to be wired for stereo would I pretty much need to run a seperate amp for the doors?
thanks for any advice.
Joe
