are RE MT's more for spl or daily?

matrix dude ran 4 mt's off 2 stetsom 7kws daily & loved them. they do not have the cooling that the xxx or mx but they will still take hella abuse & for a spl speaker they sound pretty **** good.

Considering their main use is to relieve pressure that builds up under the dust cap, anything it does beyond that is a plus IMO.

Notice how my coil looks very good (besides the scrapes). Running a 3000D at 1/2 ohm on it for quite alot of demo and burping time.

The scrapes are from when it came apart physically, thermally it was alright.

I have always loved MTs. That's probably why I have had 10 over the past 5 years.

If you ever have to recone a MT drill out the vents in the 12 spoke with a unibit.
