Are Hifonics still rid with problems ?

BAck in the day , I purchased a 12" MOFO subwoofer, and hit that thing with a Hifonics Brutus 1500d.

Needless to say , it blew that MOFO at the same time , the freegin Hifonics Amp popped like popcorn as all the transistors manifested themselfs into magic smoke.

Ive always loved orion stuff , but now the forum has me scared of the old school Orion stuff. Since DEI bought out Orion its been in my head that now Orion = Shit .

Please advise. I wouldnt mind banging that old HCCA 50W x 2 cheater amp on some new school Orion HP series. >.

hifoncs has only gotten better with time especailly the new bxi and XX line

I had a brutus 1500D and never had any problems with it at all.

ive been dealing with hifonics since the late 80's,products were awesome then,and when maxxsonics bought them out they started making entry level,medium level and all kinds of levels,but i still run maxxsonics only the high end though.if your looking at hifonics get the xx line.
