Are batcaps and capacitors the same?

Im thinking about a batcap to reduce dimming headlights vs a capacitor around 3-5 fared.

I have a cap right now but at 1200 rms, a .5 fared don’t do jack.

Wich one should I go with? Or I should go with neither?

bat caps are small batteries. a kinetik 1400 would work pretty sweet
