this is very true...i find it funny when someone gets bashed on here for running RF or MTX, by someone running a "online" brand. Sure, your dollar per watt ratio was probley much more attractive, but your amp is not likely any better then some of the newer rf/mtx offerings. At the right price I would absolutely run a rf or mtx. You may not be able to wire them to crazy ohm loads (.25, like Sundown), but at 1 or above they will perform just as well. Do people really think an AQ2200 is any better then an RF t-2001bd?RF and MTX still make good amps, on par or better than a lot of popular stuff on here like Audiopipe, Cadence, Soundstream, any Maxxsonix amp, etc. Granted their older stuff was better, some of their new lines are still good...just probably not worth the price compared to other companies.
