are 24db slopes better for my components?

Ahh yes, I forgot to mention phase in all that. For every 6dB, it's 90 degrees out of phase. Keep that in mind.

100Hz @24dB/octave will yeild about the same results as 200Hz @12dB/octave.

are those figures suppose to be accurate? a whole octave is a big difference isnt it? or is that just an example? anyway im using infinity perfect components and their rated frequency response is 75.
