AQ2200D ---> battery help

I have an aq2200d on its way right now (200 amp external fuse rating) and i know that i will need an extra battery in the back of my car. Will i need a battery isolator? and what brands should i look at, i want to keep this as low cost as possible. Im leaning toward a powermaster 5100. Im doing the big 3 and have stock alt. Thanks

a deka intimidator is probably your best bet http://www.remybattery.com , any used kinetik above a 2000, anything powermaster lol, stinger..

no need for isolator.

ok good. the isolator was what i was worried about as it would jack up the cost. never heard of the intimidaters before but i checked them out and they seem like a good deal, how long they last? thanks

intimidators are in some **** loud cars..theyll last you plenty well

Never hurts to have some extra 1/0 and ring terminals on hand when adding a 2nd batt. Good frame ground for the battery and your set.

gotcha. so whenever i see 0/1 online im assuming its really 1/0?
