AQ SDC2.5 12" Build Designs

I am planning on doing a build for an Audioque SDC2.5 12" and was wondering what kinda space other people are running. I was looking at doing a 2.2 cu. ft. vented enclosure tuned to 35 hz. Before sub and port displacement it would be right around 4.1 cubes. I am working on some sketch-up designs that I will post on here when I get time.

Thanks for whatever help I get!

your design will work, could even go 2.5net and tune to 38hz for daily as the SDC's hit the lows very well...
Okay, thank you. I'm going to play around with designs today and I'll upload some pics of the Sketch-Up's on here when I'm done. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Here is the 2.2 cu. ft. design tuned to 35 hz. The dimensions without the second baffle are 36L x 21D x 14H.

The second is the 2.5 cube design I came up with. It's tuned to 38 hz like mistrass stated would be good. The outside dimensions minus the second baffel are 37.5L x 18D x 14H.

how much port area per net cube? port looks WAY long if doing 16^2 per cube...should be 18" long for 38Hz tuning...
Depends on the port proportions as well. Skinnier ports need to be longer, and with a 2ft^3 box and a 16"x2" port, 18" long gives you a 42-43hz tune. A 8"x4" port 18" long drops the tuning one cycle. Neither of them really work out to 38hz.
