AQ pre production 2.5 sub

Here is a picture of the new pre production I guess its called the AQHDC2.5 subwoofer, It looks chopped up cause I had to remove the background, I hear it has a smaller motor than the HDC3 and it has 2.5"VC. Anways heres the pic of it

X2 looks pretty beefy, I asked if it had the same motor but it is smaller, Im sure more info will be added here as the weeks go on.

i dont like the wire they have instead of two terminals. what do you do to connect to the amp,use a soldering iron or what? I think it seems kind of inconvenient.

x2 wire up your speaker wire to the woofers wires with wire nuts and I usually put electrical tap around that as well, just for extra measure. All DD and AQ subs use the wire instead of posts/terminals.

8's are not going to happen...not with 2.5" VC's...

these looks like buttsecks! i'd love to get the HDC3 but those seem way too power hungry for what i'd like to give them...

and i agree, i don't think these are going to drop in price more then $10, the old ones were already crazy cheap...

i'm already dreaming on a pair of 10's or 12's...*drool*
