I have an HDC 10 sitting in my closet and I've designed probably 15-20 type-r enclosures. So yes, I do know.

You're an idiot. If you do each properly, this thread would be a complete waste of time as the R wouldn't even be close. The point is that the R is in its ideal environment while the AQ is being fed less power than it wants and is in an enclosure that is smaller than it wants and is tuned lower than it wants. People make these comparisons when they have speakers that are better than they really should have i.e. "What would be louder off 500 watts: a DD 9512 or a Type R 12?" I'd go with the R since it can actually move decent air on that power while the DD needs at least 1000 more to get going well. So no, try again.
