AP3000D VS AQ2200D Need opinion quick

Which of these are more reliable? I have a single Stinger 2150, stock alt. The batt is sitting at 14.8 with the truck on. I am planning on a single 15 or 18...The audioque will be at my house thursday but there is someone on here wanting to trade? Is it worth it?

If your only running that one battery and a stock alt you should probably go with the smaller of the two...

well i had a AP 4 channel and judging from that amp i might want to stay away from their products...I think the AQ might be better as well because of 1 ohm stability. . . . mo POWA tho!

With that electrical you'll have a hard time keeping voltage up on the AP3000, hell you might even drop with the AQ2200. But out of the two, I'd say the AP3000D will perform better if you can use a 2ohm load. And by perform better I mean more power, lol. It's hard to compare the two as power is a bit different.. Quality wise both are fine though. I know quite a few people who have ran the new line of AP sub amps and have had not a single problem with it, and a few people I know have some pretty horrifying electricals lol. But on the other side I know people who are running those AQs hard as hell with no problems either..

Wow man thanks for the response. So basically what your saying is...you would trade, sounds like a good deal, the AQ can be driven hard as hell, and the AP is a solid amp. And at 2 ohm ill get MOOO POWA! hmmm...any other takers?

They are two completely different amps. Neither is rated to do the same power or even run at the same final ohm load. How can they be compared directly? Both are solid performers though. Your set-up would have to determine which would work better for you.
