I own a single eg15-x and won my first compitition with only 300 watts sealed. Got first place and a trophy in USACI and have pics to prove it.

I've owned a kicker cvr 15 and they both get as loud but in my opinion the soundstream has better sq. The kicker I blew but I sent it to a shop to have it repaired and then gave it to my brother, As you can tell which sub I prefer. Btw you can't beat the price either.
