diamond d3 vs type s

of course .. four vs two is gonna win .. but with equal numbers .. my money is on the type r.. you all know they can be fed 1000 watts .. and sometimes even want more..

what would be a nice amp for a pair of diamond d3 12's ? you think they could take 1000 watts between them alright ?
considering i am running mine off of 6-700 watts, they will take every bit of 1000 watts. look for a Diamond D5 1200.1, great amp but you would have to most likely buy a used one. what kind of budget do you have for an amp?

how much louder do you think 2 diamond d3 12's with around 1000 watts would be than my current setup , single 12'' type r in a 1.25 cuft sealed box with an alpine mrd 605

You should stick to your type R and just buy another type R and put them in a ported box. I first had my two type R 12's in a sealed box and they were awful, hardly any output and didnt even sounded good at all. Now I have them in a ported box 5 net cubes tune to 32hz and they get loud and sound very nice. TYpe R's arent made for sealed boxes . Put it this way my 150 watt pioneer 12' got way louder than my type R with 750 rms in a sealed box.
