youre looking for 2KW, look for a viper 2500D used, you MIGHT be able to find one for 300 or maybe just a little more.

other than that, its probably not gonna happen. Remember that with that kind f power, youre going over budget, by far, with electrical upgrades (Batteries, and upgraded Alts, as well as thick wiring........

probably not the best way to start off your new hobby

It would be pretty cool with one sub....wont KILL your electrical either....but something more efficient with twice the cone area (IE two 12s) would be louder and possibly sound better....

Im not a AA representative or anything, but I honestly dont think you can find a better mix of SQ and SPL from the Assasins at the price they sell for....hard to beat....

And i think 130 shipped for the pioneer is each....

I dont know if this was adressed yet...but what kinda of music do you listen too?

Assassin 12s are going for 75 each.....buy two for the same price as an L7, Type R, or that pioneer on ebay.....

I wouldnt say so. Maybe he is just doing a little research, and gathering opinions about what he wants to buy. He doesnt have expierence, so basically all he has to go on is what he learns here, as well as looks. would you buy a sub, that you wanted to show off to your friends, if it was all F'ed up looking to you?
