you're measuring in the trunk? And ported is nowhere near specific enough. My ported box sounds different than yours, guaranteed.

Basicly no-one can tell you that up front.

yeah, in the trunk, but im just asking in general.

i mean i dont want an answer like the as's will hit 140dB and the cvr's will hit 141dB.

Just general, like yeah, AAs are really good, and get just about as loud as the CVRs in any enclosure. or like yeah those CVRs are really nice, they will easily out do those AAs in anything; but the AAs are better for your money, and perfect for a beginner

or like, you know, thats aa's get really loud and sound really good, but the cvrs get alot louder but dont soud too good.

And also i forgot but instead of the pionners i ment to say the type r's, have no idea why i said pionneers, lol

but anyways, just generalize. kinda like in computer parts, you know like in general amd is better for gaming then an intel. and intel is better at multi tasking. but you can always go into the detail of ram, video cards and mobos, but just in gnereal, amd is better for gaming then an intel.

I am almost certain that the AAs will have better SQ then all of those choices....

They should beat the CVRs in output and be a little below the Pioneers and the Alpines.....

And they are cheaper....less expensice to power....the pioneers need somwhere around 1500-2000RMS for the pair, type Rs around 1200 for the pair, while the AAs only need at the most 800 for the pair....

This is all general info. Every car will be different and the enclosure will play a key role. Lol too true. Its just that my dad is weird when it comes to me doing really expensive things myself. So I want to get what I like right off the bat, and in a few years get something better/louder.

See, thats where my delima (sp?) is. I see in your sig that you have some AA's. What size? And is there any chance that I could get some pics or even a video of oit?

If you want to wait a few days, I can definately get you some videos of my AAs. Im doing the wiring today....may put it all in today, if not by saturday...the box is finished....heres a little preview.....I have four 8s BTW....
