I'd think concrete would be dead as ****.Juuust about unpossible in 3/4". I however did have some 17 or 18 ply 1" Chinese Poplar recently.
Ply = layer
..but isn't somehow the best. Any AA/AB/BA/BB even BC grade plywood would do fine. There are better priceerformance ratios out there than birch. It's not some God species.
Chaching. This guy knows. Baltic still isn't somehow God wood either, but it's definitely proven to be a good choice.
Yeah not true.
snoopdan. I saw it in person @ MECA Finals in 06 or 07. It was for a neo TC Sounds 5200 on an Adassa Warlord IIRC. Did amazing numbers for a no wall / stock class.
No different than people putting walls in their vehicles. I don't think it was 1" either. I could be wrong though.
Whatever resonates bro.
Have you built a box of concrete? Does it resonate me? Hell I don't know enlighten me.You think concrete would be dead? Alright.
Sorry, drunken typo. So you are saying a concrete box would resonate more than an MDF box?No, I haven't. Not quite sure why we're trying to "resonate you" but I don't get down like that.
Neat looking sonotube! Yours? I've heard a couple and they were pretty awesome in HT.Sonotube for concrete forms is probably one of the best for non resonance.

No, just a pic I found to give as an example.Neat looking sonotube! Yours? I've heard a couple and they were pretty awesome in HT.
Woodwork on that thing is dead smexy! The ones I heard weren't near as purty.No, just a pic I found to give as an example.
Im not that skilled!
OK I'm confused as to the point you were making. Not trying to be a douche, but wouldn't concrete be less resonant than other materials mentioned, therefore better?No, that isn't what I said.
Even in 5'x5'?Juuust about unpossible in 3/4". I however did have some 17 or 18 ply 1" Chinese Poplar recently.
