Sonotube for concrete forms is probably one of the best for non resonance.

Juuust about unpossible in 3/4". I however did have some 17 or 18 ply 1" Chinese Poplar recently.

Ply = layer

..but isn't somehow the best. Any AA/AB/BA/BB even BC grade plywood would do fine. There are better price:performance ratios out there than birch. It's not some God species.

Chaching. This guy knows. Baltic still isn't somehow God wood either, but it's definitely proven to be a good choice.

Yeah not true. :p

snoopdan. I saw it in person @ MECA Finals in 06 or 07. It was for a neo TC Sounds 5200 on an Adassa Warlord IIRC. Did amazing numbers for a no wall / stock class.

No different than people putting walls in their vehicles. I don't think it was 1" either. I could be wrong though.

Whatever resonates bro.
I'd think concrete would be dead as ****.

Even in 5'x5'?

I went with 7-ply for the BIBs, and ended up with 3 layers, though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

concrete is used in studios to absorb bass. We float the floor with a layer of concrete so if some one is under you they won't hear it so concrete idk it absorbs sound to well u want the sound to actually go through the box
