Anyone know a lawyer?

Even if you didn't show up in court, they'd mostly likely just do a judgment against you since it's civil court, not criminal. Even if you didn't pay the fine, they wouldn't throw you in jail, it would just turn up on your credit report.

I recently found a judgment mine from 10 years ago. Went to the emergency room after a 30 ft fall, Thought all my bills were paid. Two years later, while I was in Okinawa, they took me to court without notification. I'm making payments on it now and, once paid off, I'll dispute it with the 3 credit bureaus and they'll take it off or at least give me a few points... No problems...

Either way, it would still be cheaper to get a lawyer to appear on your behalf. From my own experiences, half the time they will even call you wanting you to hire them for that measly $200 or $300... I'd keep in contact with the officer from out there, he may give you a little more advice on Utah's procedures...

They only do a temporary ban on members and that never shows up on their feedback rating.

Something interesting I saw in his auction though, he says you can skip the auction all together by contacting him directly. eBay doesn't like that...

Can't believe he had the nerve to email me again...

Kenny, Just wanted to make you aware that I have talked with a detective in Layton, City who is opening a Case against: Kenny Pollock for "slander and character bashing" against me and my company. Please remember that just because my personal information is open to the public, does not give anyone legal permission or right to type and use my personal information for bashing our company. I never gave you permission to use my info in this matter, and thus the reason we have strong foundation with this case. I have showed him the web: http://www.laddmurdock.com and he has clearly let me know that you have broken several laws which you will have to explain to the Judge after you recieve the court date in the mail. Kenny, you will be summoned to appear in the Salt Lake City Matheson 3rd Circuit Courty, and you are free to explain your purpose. We have written documentation and evidence which you were notified by officer Garner of Layton, City to "ceast and desist" which obviously you chose not to do. I have contacted officer Gardner and let him know of the harrassment and previously told him that my company would like to "hold" from pressing charges, now that this new evidence has come to place, we can now move forward with these charges. I assumed you were a mature adult, and it looks like you don't take the Layton City police department or my company to serious. Hopefully you will take these criminal charges serious when you pay the fine. I'm sorry Kenny, I tried to give you a break, and you have gone to far. The officer will be providing his evidence to the Judge explaining that you were notified on the date provided to stop with the "slander and bashing" against my company, which you seemed to not listen to. Hopefully you will now take this serious after you recieve the new information my company is pursuing. You have recieved all of your Rims/Spinners and items from my company, and you still had the nerve to try and lie to people and tell them we are "fraud" and trying to claim you were ripped off. I would understand how you would do this if someone didn't send you the products, but you recieved everything which makes the evidence of your statements a solid case. Sorry it came to this point Kenny. You will be tried as an adult, because my attorney is making sure the trial date is after your Birthday. LM

Oh, and Officer Gardiner never asked me to "cease" the website, he told me it fell under the first amendment and that I have every right to protect any potential buyers from being frauded.

How was I frauded? A fake tax was unauthorized-ly charged to my card, and the card's details were on the net when the charge was disputed.

Just be certain that you keep a hard-copy of everything pertaining to this situation and have it in order when (if) any court date arrives. It's pretty obvious to, well, everyone but Mr. Murdock who is in the right here.

I wouldn't sweat it were I you.

If he is serious, as long as you have kept everything, your fine. he keeps contradicting himself, so at most id say its dismissed once he figures out he cant win. thats IF it ever gets to trial in the first place. laywers pick apart people who contradict themselves, so your all set.

Just because "his lawyer" is going to make sure the trial is after your 18th birthday, doesn't mean they would charge as an adult. All the stuff happened while you were a minor. Anyway, I can't see them (him) waiting 2 1/2 years...

x2 on above post.

It would be interesting if you call up the department that so called "officer" Gardner works for and simply ask to speak to him. If they go "huh"? Then you caught him in another lie. Boom.
