anyone else think isreal is trippin?

Didn't Mexico recently have a highly-contested Presidential election?
Ran on July 2nd. Less than 250,000 votes between the winner and the runner up. Less than .5% of the votes cast.

I suppose then, it would be Felipe Calderon. Again, not even close. This man did not run in the 2006 Election in any formal capacity, instead choosing to embark on a tour of Mexico under a rather neat title. I won't tell you what it was, because that would give it away //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

hmm no idea who it could be.

don't really know the situation that well but from my pv it seems both parties are trippin...maybe there is not enough space for everyone? are the people so primitive that they can't see each other as people?

One country, one "people". Palestine is not a country.

Anyways, Israel has stated and demonstrated that it supports the idea that Gaza and the West Bank could well be recognized as a potential Palestinian state. That's not good enough for the Palestinians. They want Israel gone from the map. They do not reconize Israel as legitimate or deserving of having a state.

ahhh man I cant remember his name, but he was the spokesman for the zapatistas, when all heck broke loose in chiapas, aftter the mexican government decided to stop issuing farming land to some of its poorer consituents, specifically in chiapas since it has some of the best location for agriculture and future expansion in what it s 1993 or 1994 right?

the deal with that guy that was different is that at the time he was one of the few that could speak the indigenous language of the indigenous Chiapas locales ( I assume they are of mayan descent ) but he was very educated or so I read

and he always had the pipe in all the pictures, but he was not of the idigenous group by birth, if I remember correctly

He started the whole cover ones face, guerilla warafe tactic, that most used during the WTO seattle affairs, and which is now banned in most US citites during civil unrest due to the patriot act

and back on topic

IMO only!!!! I guess this has nothing to do with 1 soldier or even 4-7 (the bombs started after the first guy was captured though) it has more to do with hamas winning a DEMOCRATIC election, under the nose of US/EU/Israeli intelligence---wonder how that happened in the first place without some so called diplomats coming up missing or something before the election?????

his has been going on for years, and BOTH side has captured many soldiers, terrorist whatever you want to call them, (and deending whos calling who which)

and as far as the right/legitamacy. If you inhabit a land for thousands of years, and then a new group of people come in and take ALL land that has any real commerce potential , and then forcibly remove those current inhabitants to the inland

Dont you think there will be some discourse?

Hamas does ill things--CORRECT the direct attack on civilians is without merit and disgusting to me a CIVILIAN living in the US,

but cmon you dont think they have a right to fight for the land they lived on prior to 1947? or should they just give it away to a ideoligical tranfer based upon a document that is not true to them, ie the bible

I understand why the israelis want the land, and why they believe it to be ordained, but you cant come into some ones backyard with guns blazing, but when you lose 4-7(in your words) soldiers to capture you an send in the war planes??

so israel has nooo palestinians soldiers in jail up to this point? they have NEVER killed civilians???, and those they do have in jail is ONLY because they were terrorist or combatants?

doubt it, so again I ask why now??

and israel has an ARMY/Economic Structure etc due to outside entities, palestine does not

why is that?

in war you use what you have available-dont like it either personally, but thats war

For all intent purposes, the "government" of Palestine is Hamas...a documented terrorist organization. This is who the Palestinian people chose to elect and support. Mahmoud Abbas—although the "Palestinian Authority president"—has no real power. I say evaporate those filthy ragheads ASAP.
OUCH lol , keep it simple huh

but im sure thats in the works young general //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

but why is Hamas terrorist, and not the initial israel force that went into palestine in 1946? or the current administration

Israel is breaking international law and are backing them with money to buy our weapons. It is sad to say the least that our news sources ignore the fact that Israel is occupying Palestine, and seem to poise them as merely defending themselves when you hear about Palestine deaths. They destroy hundreds upon hundreds of Palestinian homes, and kill a whole lot of civilians.

What they are doing is deplorable to say the least and we all should be ashamed that the United States supports them.

Oh wait, what they're doing kind of reminds me of a little something our oh so wonderful country is doing that is heinous. /sigh

Oh please.

You REALLY don't want to go there. The MOSSAD has been inactive for years now. Now it's JUST Israeli missle strikes, helicopter strikes, and military actions.

They are less active now then that HAVE been in the past, you just know more about it.

So, what was your reaction to hearing that ARAB terrorists had murdered the Israeli olympic team?!?

"At 4:30AM on September 5, 1972, five Arab terrorists wearing track suits climbed the six and 1/2 foot fence surrounding the Olympic Village in Munich, Germany. Once inside, they were met by three others who had gained entrance with credentials. Within 24 hours, 11 Israelis, five terrorists, and a German policeman were dead.

Just before 5:00AM, the terrorists knocked on the door of Israeli wrestling coach Moshe Weinberg who opened the door, realized immediately something was wrong and shouted a warning. Weinberg and weightlifter Joseph Romano attempted to block the door while their members escaped, but they were killed by the terrorists. The Arabs then rounded up nine Israelis to hold as hostages.

At 9:30AM, the terrorists announced that they were Palestinian Arabs, and demanded that Israel release 234 Arab prisoners in Israeli jails and Germany release two German terrorist leaders imprisoned in Frankfurt. They also demanded their own safe passage out of Germany. After hours of negotiations, a deal was struck with German authorities and a trip to the NATO air base at Firstenfeldbruck, by bus and then two helicopters was arranged, in order to board a plane for Cairo. German sharpshooters were standing by with orders to simultaneously kill all the terrorists without harming the hostages.

The rescue plan failed and a bloody firefight between the Germans and Palestinians followed, ending at 3:00AM when the Palestinians set off a grenade in one helicopter, killing all aboard, and terrorists in the second helicopter shot to death the remaining, blindfolded Israeli hostages. Three of the Palestinian Arabs terrorists were captured alive and held in Germany.

On October 29, a Lufthansa jet was hijacked by Palestinian terrorists who demanded that the Munich killers be released. The Germans capitulated and the imprisoned terrorists were freed."

Read that, and consider that again.

Well.

Nice point.

HOWEVER, consider also, that the israeli 'force' that went in, had just suffered one of the worst genicides ever. If not, THE worst.

Please do not make it out like the Israeli's are terrorists. THEY are the only one's that know that you must fight fire, with fire, when it comes to terrorism.

Where has peace talkings led to, over the years? Several small periods of peace... MOST OF THE TIME, being broken by Palestinians.
