I think im gonna get one. I was wondering how a system would sound in it? Anybody know?
If you are going to need the seats down because you are hauling cargo all the time or whatever....I would just do a head unit, 6.5" components up front in kick panels, and maybe a shallow mount midbass driver or some 2 ways in the back doors(doubt an 8" sub would fit under the seats, we tried, and failed horribly that day)Originally posted by KMS_RB_34 I think im gonna get one. How good did the 2 15's sound in the bed of it? Was the SPL quality very good?Originally posted by ss3079 If you are going to need the seats down because you are hauling cargo all the time or whatever....I would just do a head unit, 6.5" components up front in kick panels, and maybe a shallow mount midbass driver or some 2 ways in the back doors(doubt an 8" sub would fit under the seats, we tried, and failed horribly that day)
Anyways, what we ended up doing was putting 2 15's in the bed...ready to be easily removed. It's still pretty loud inside...but it could be better.
All in all, I advise you against the Avalanche - dont get me wrong, its a very nice vehicle - but, for a system, you might want to look into just an extended cab pickup(assuming you want a bed on your truck) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It was still pretty loud...I mean you have to take into consideration that there is no canopy on the truck. It's loud when the glass is off also...in the summer we just turned the box around and folded the seats down...then it was really loud.Originally posted by KMS_RB_34 How good did the 2 15's sound in the bed of it?
