Anybody have a new Chevy Avalanch?

yes back to the truck.

Where should I mount the amp or amps? What about to the roof and run the wires down the side of the truck into the bed? then if I need to remove the box, just unhook the wires right? or how about under the seats?

What do you guys think about the box for the L7 12's?

you want to get a pre fab box thats .88 cubic feet per chamber and put it in a bed? and think it will sound good? can i have some of what your smoking? Also i wish mommy and daddy would have gave me everything i got, then again on second thought i feel better knowing that i have worked for all the shit i own

aw, come on, dont' make fun of him because his parents are loaded. My parents gave me their car which was a 93 Explorer. It's worth about $3500 now, but still. Anyways, he's not the only one getting shit from his parents.

Hey man that was totally uncalled for. First of all, he is paying for half of the truck - and if you have any clue what-so-ever, you know thats a fair amount of cash to fork out.

Maybe instead of bashing him you could do some constructive thinking and give suggestions as to where he could mount his amp. Dont be afraid to wrack your brain.

How would that box do? It is sealed.

.88 cubic feet each chamber

14" h X 14 1/2" b d X 8 1/2" td X 28 1/4" w

Would somebody please, please help me. I need to make a decision quick.

That box is too small for the subs to perform to the "best of their ability". You should look into either building a fairly decent size sealed or ported box for the L7's. I'm just afraid that you may not be able to hear the bass in the cabin with such a small box. Send those subs a fair amount of power in a big box and you'll be heard.

Sorry for the wait,

- Steve
