Any suggestions with 5K limit?

definetly checkout RD audio, they make some killer stuff.

rdaudio.net

the owner (steve Miller) used to or still does (cant remember frankly) run a shop in chicago.

the superheavyweight is one hell of a sub

allrigt yea i checked it out. and it says "Whether you want a 5,000 watt RMS subwoofer for street bass or a 30,000 watt SPL burst subwoofer these will work for you.".........AND........" 30,000 watt SPL burps " doesnt sound that realistic comming from one sub?!?!?!

sounds good. so you would suggest 2 12" MTs to be very loud?!?! but would they be able to beat 4 12" pioneer premiers (the 3000 watt ones)?! my goal is to beat that system in the parking lot. and 2 12" type R's
Hey u what to be loud? But it looks like u only want to be loud in bass

Let me show you how a supreme system is

Subwoofers –treo ssx 15 (can be another subwoofer brand)

Subwoofer amps-3 Rockford 3000d (use rf for quality bass don’t want to sound like a pack of rat in a steel bin right)

Midrange speaker- 2 pairs of 18sounds 10M600 (voice got to be loud)

Midrange amp –lanzar optidrive opti500.2 bridged at 2 ohm mono (it can take that power I using this set up right now in midrange)

Tweeter – 4 of any good brand

Tweeter amp –sound stream lil wonder 480.4

Battery -2 2400 Kinetik

Cap 20fd

Good cd player

Audio control eql and 3sx

That’s a killer system

It does not make sense to build a big bass system without good midrange u will sounded like crap

Use the midrange set up with the 18sounds speakers

let me ask you, are you wanting straight LOUD or do you still want some level of musicality?
im guessing you still want some level of musicality.

heres my setup for you:

2 DD9515G's ( 1300 )

2 autotek MM4000.1's ( 1300 )

enclosure materials ( 150 )

Knu 1/0 wiring ( 200 )

HO alty (400)

3 Kinetik HC2400's (850)

Pioneer premier HU (300)

2 pair rainbow SLC 265 (520)

Kicker sx900.4 (450)

mids/highs wire kit (150)

thats 5K...ish
^^^ that's LOUD as crap

U know I wish I was in the UNITED STATES

I would personal show you how a system should de u all lacking midrange bad

All that bass and no voice

But if its one thing you all build your electrical system real good

I suggest that you take your butt to a couple of the Spl contests. I'm sure that several are going on in your area.

If your polite, I bet that some of the competitors will show you what they are running and probably give you a listen. That way you can make an educated decision based on equipment that you've seen and heard.

Rather that, or you trust complete strangers online who are recommending brands of very expensive equipment that you've never heard of before.

I just want to see someone actually spend $5k to be the loudest kid in a parking lot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
