Any Shuriken battery fans?

I'm not sure how well these stack up to other batteries like xs or batcap. Real world usage. Anyone like the shuriken?

I hear mixed things about Shuriken, I would check out your local sears for those diehard platinums. They have some large batteries and they actually aren't that bad, plus they come with like a 4 year warranty.

In a video where xs put 500 amp load on 3 groups 31 batts far xs kinetik nd shuriken the shuriken did better then the kinetic but xs bear both

I've got 5 16v kinetik batts with a trickle charger that you hook up to 12v and it will trickle them with 5 amps. So you can burp at 16v and then leave your car running between runs to get them back up. I'd like $650.00 picked up. I'm in Southern Illinois. I know this was a douchy thing to do because this isn't a fs thread but I really need money.

wow, looks like no one is running these. Local shop had the BT100 for 110. may pick up a couple for my next build.

Shurikens are rebadged Kinetics, they are built in the same factories. Straight from the mouth of a dealer of both and XS. He said XS or Battcap is the way to go.

I use two shuriken BT80s in my car, I like them, but yeah they are just rebardges kinetiks. I think they are cheaper too, but if you had the choice, go batcap or xs

For raw power and performance vs price Shurikens are VERY good but for starters or just anything really reliable I have heard they don't stack up.

I also agree I would take XS over Kintetik all day just really solid dependable batteries for the price, you can also get them really cheap online in curtain places. I know an Odyssey dealer that I can get you a discount through, I got my 1500 for $200 and it's a $300 battery. Shipping might add a lot of cost though since it's a 60LB battery.

i would be using 2 or 3 in my ranger. Have a Mechman 260a and amps would be sundown 1500 at .5 and a sundown 125.2

I would consider something like XS up front and then 2 Shurikens in the back with that alternator it should run those 2 amplifiers without a problem. Personally I you don't even need that much just one good batt and that alternator would do it.

thats what im trying to get at. group 65 from XS to fit my stock location is like $280.
