Like Gdick said let us no. I got no prob with tryin to help figure out wtf is goin on. and me and devon are nice enuff not to charge as long as we dont have to really do anything. lol

 
IM in tampa and know quite a bit about car audio but you need to be more specific. In other words WTF is going on?
I am good with the audio the electrical is whats got me going.. I have a hc 2400 and a 1400 with a stocker up front.. Well.. when driving along its fine voltage is good I can be wanging on 2400-3200+ watts voltage might dip to 13.9. usually won't unless ac is going and what not.. well at idle with no music going or REALLY low I will sit around 12.9-13.2... if i put it in neutral it goes up a little or park.. now if I rev it a little It will go 14.. This has me thinking the alternator is shit for Idle but thats like 0.. my car sits at 12.9-13.2 when off... I will get the alternator tested and go from there but If i remember correctly my last alternator.. a stocker did the same.. the alt I have now is a 200a Db electric.. stock pulley size so that may be part of it..

Also at idle the car will kinda shake when the voltage dips down and will shake until I go or put it in neutral.. the rpms go up a little when doing that.. So idk if its the car idling to low or the alt being a piece at idle or what.. also when I put up my windows it dims my lights and drops my voltage .2 or so while doing it.. like wtf? they shouldn't be that much power

I am handy enough to do the things needing done myself.. A look at things is what I am wanting.. someone with some know how on how/why this may be doing this or that etc.. also someone with a batt charger would kick *** as maybe a good charging would do it.. idk?

 
Whats the real problem? Your voltage is getting too low?
If thats what youre thinking is the problem, you're fine, youre not even in the 11s.
Its not so much a problem as it is an annoyance.. and would like to know.. why.. I understand the safety zone aswell.. but isn't idling etc the time shit is supposed to charge.. the alt isn't feeding as much and supposed to charge now?

 
If your system draws more amps then your alternator is providing at any time, your voltage will go down. Unless you get a massive alt or another alt to go with the one you have now, your voltage will drop.

IMO your voltage is great for the power youre running.

ya but 13.2 for nothing on... that would be putting a strain on the batts at idle no?

 
It seems like to me you dont have enuff batteries. Your alt is going to do that becouse at idle itsn ot charging as much as if you were driving. That shaking is your motor about to die from low power to the distributor. My theory is get the batts tested. Mine did that for a while with a stock batt and a 200amp alt. I replaced the battery with a bigger one and it never did it again. I was only running one 1500d at that time too. BTW 12-13volts is where you shits is suppose to be. Like gmonk said when you et in the 10s then you have a prob. I would look at a bigger stock batt up front since that what mainly supplies the engine. big *** everstart from wallyworld is like 70$. Iv got one and it does the job just fine.

Ok.. I will rephrase everything as I don't think you guys are understanding..

Ok morning I start up my car and in park its at 14.6 and put it in drive.. 14.6 still.. start driving la la la la.. go through the first stop the next etc.. car is fine.. park it... its fine.. afternoon start the car up 14.4 get to a light with nothing on and nothing was this morning either.. sit for a little bit.. 14.4 goes to 14.. then 13.8 then 13.2.. put it in neutral 13.6-13.9...

it does it regardless of what I have on or what I had on in the day... the colder it is outside will help though.. but not much
