Any Ideas for the wire?

Well, in order to pull up the carpet I will have to undo 8 bolts which secure the seats to the floor of the car, which would be a cinch, but of course, the bolts have to be secured by a nut on the underside of the car...

So taking out and replacing 8 bolts will take a lot longer than I need to spend on this... Also, I need to take off all the random panels and such.

Is there any way to make the install not look like shit, and not run the wires under the carpet or underneath the car?

I jsut don't want to spend that much time with the bolts unless I have to..

Can you pull up the carpet before it reaches the seats? If you can get it that far, you could place the wiring in some sturdy tubing and just push it through between the bolts to the rear of the car.

supposing you mean power wire...

in my car I ran it throught the sleeve where the electircal for the dash came through, then around the edge near the door, under the carpet

Just had to pull up the trim on the floor in the doorways..then I ran it throught the side of the back seat, and into the trunk..

Put the trim pieces back, and you can't see the wire anywhere but in the trunk and under the hood.

you can pull of the runners and what not and have more than enough room to run the wires on either side in almost any vehicle

taking out all the carpet to run power and signal wires is overkill

Ok, so I'm not just lazy in thinking that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

hopefully I can find the time to finish this with school starting tomorrow...

the seat bolts should be studs and are welded to the floorpan/subframe...you just take the nuts off inside the car
yea ive never seen a car with bolts underneath, but like i said before pull off all the runners and you will have enough room, just dont run your rcas next to the factory harness going to the rear of the car it can be noisy

Nuts are underneath bolts are on top..

But, you need to clamp the nut to unscrew the bolt...

They both spin.

I like to run my power wire through the fender and the door jamb...this creates less noise on the line and you get to see the wire every time you get in. Then I wrap it around my headrest to use as cushioning when I'm driving (I can almost feel the current going through it!)

Then I cut a hole on my back deck and plop it through there, works well for me...

I'm not being mean...just bored.

you don't need to take the seats out, and anyway you should put the amps underneath the front seats (or amp). There is enough to fit two fifteens under those seats!

They are power seats..
There should still be room, those have tons of room. But if not then just remove the runners, take out the seatbelt bolt on the bottom and then you can squeeze it under the rear trim panel (unless you want to spend a half hour taking it off.
