well, that chart means nothing. Its not giving a range of referenced operational values.

Clipping does put out more power. Look into the 3:1 ratio for gain overlap.

I think those are supposed to be voltage sine waves (power supplies), to compare efficencies, not audio waves. Without telling us what the horizontal of the graph indicates (amps?) or what the values are, it's a totally meaningless chart.
