yeah pretty much the norm now is to bring at least 4 balls....6 is a little overkill for a league night cause you pretty know what to expect! lol i bet ur balls ended up with the same fate as my cousins did......like 10 years ago his balls got stolen out of his cars because kids were rolling them down on ramps to the freeway....stupid *** kids.....

I am about 50 miles east of Cleveland, near Youngstown Ohio. A little town called Cortland.

believe it or not ive been to cortland....my girlfriend used to live near there and on our way to pittsburgh once she wanted to take me to a diner in cortland that she used to always go.....

yep more of a friend of a friend but ive bowled on a couple leagues with him....since ur from florida im going to assume you might know him? well actually husband of a friend....bowled with his wife erin when we were kids had the same coach for a while

my next door neighbor has atleast 10 bowling balls and a bunch of trophies and stuff. Hes had like 15 300 games now and is the captain of the university team. Its pretty sick how much money that sport can eat up.

Thats cool. I live right off mosquito lake and is a nice area. I enjoy it for the most part. Crime rate is low, which is always nice, lol!

ive loved watching bowling since i was a kid......its fun now cause i get to watch and see guys ive gone to nationals and bowled with......again makes me a little depressed lol

Like I said, I have bowled with some amatures, but nothing like what you have been through. I might actually watch it then, lol!

i mean im good, not great, but good......i bowled on leagues since i was 6, got really serious about bowling when i was 15... qualified for junior nationals twice.....it was a fun experience....out of 500 my highest i ever place was 120 so im not going to sit here and act like im great lol but i got to bowl with some really really great bowlers, some of which like i said i see on tour now......got to go to vegas and reno at 16 and 17....was awesome bowling in the national bowling stadium!

i have shot at least 1 300 each season since i turned adult so ill pat myself on the back for that one lol

im a weirdo though, ill even sit and watch all the old tournaments they show on espn classic!!!

Well you have done a lot more than me then. I mean I have been in the paper a couple times when I was a junior and once for hitting high 800's in my last league I was in. I couldn't believe it that they submited that shit to the local newspaper, but was cool. Believe me I have ment a shit ton of bowlers better than me when I was young and now and sounds like you could take me, especially now being it has been over a year now since I have bowled. Sounds like you should get back in it and make something of it. Screw what I have done, it compares nothing to what you have accomplished.

you know honestly once you hit about 210 in avg the only thing that separates the pros that make money and amateur league bowlers is a helluva lot of practice, financial backing(costs alot of money to be on tour), and being matched with the proper equipment......if you dedicate time to practicing like those guys do anyone that has the natural ability to avg 200 could avg 230-240 if they made the effort....but most of us have bills to pay and jobs to work so we dont have the time to do it......

and typically if you look on saturday or sunday local newspaper they normally have local scores and a write up of the high bowler of the week in their.....when i shot 299 a couple season ago i gave a phone interview to a local writer and said "it stinks cause i have 299's out the yang"...yeah thats right i said out the yang...my girlfriend hasnt let me live that down yet ha ha

I betcha you get pretty dirty as well.
Least every mechanic I see coming out of there is covered head to toe in some grime.

i prefer not to. looks bad to the public when a mechanic or pinchaser comes up dirty. i try to keep em clean as possable. (a clean machine is a happy machine) that and allways wash my hands before i come up. it seems like everytime i go up front for whatever reason, i get stuck helping someone up on the counter.

no i don't know him, i know of him because i follow the pba tour alot, a guy i bowled with in league last year is exempt, todd book, hell of a bowler...

ah...hes originally from florida thats why i thought you might know him...he grew up there and i think he bowled at florida state as well......but yeah he lives a couple miles up the road from me now and on off weeks from the tour and the offseason you see him as a sub or something on local leagues.....

its amazing to watch...hes like a machine lol everything is perfect everytime....very rairly do you see him make a mistake....
