Ok, I made the ground wire shorter. Also we moved the wires that were connected to the back speakers and connected them to the back of the H/U. Don't ask me what they are or why they were hooked up like that I have no Idea. When we did that stuff I noticed that one wire was melted adn blackened. Supposedly it was the 'remote wire'. I don;t know what that wire is. What could have happened to make it melt? We cut it to get rid of the melted part. According to my boyfriend we can only do one of the big 3. I asked him why, but I didn;t really get what he said. Apparently there isn't room for bigger gauge wires or some crap like that. Now I can't remember what one it was he said we could replace, but we got a wire at autozone, but the wire says it's for something else. Does that matter? He says a wire is a wire. Its a 2 gauge Duralast gold "switch to starter bettery cable". I asked him why we couldn;t do the other ones and why the cable said it was for something else, and he got mad at me, so I said I was going to ask my dad to help and he got mad at me for that too:waycrazy: . Best Buy told me I needed to spend almost a thousand dollars to fix that problem by replacing the entire wiring harness. My boyfirend says that they were just trying to sell me stuff. Who is right?
