Another Type-R Question: Box Help PLEASE!!

Hey everyone,

I am getting ready to build a box for my 2 Alpine Type-R 12's and wanted to ask a few questions first. ***I HAVE USED THE SEARCH FUNCTION AND LOOKED THROUGH PAGES OF RESULTS, BUT COULDN"T FIND WHAT I NEEDED!!***

1) What should I tune the box to? I want good SPL but I want to keep SQ too. Mainly I want SPL though.

2) What volume should I make the box? It will be going in a 1979 Z28 Camaro, so it can't be too big, but I can make it decent sized...

3) Anything else I should know?

1) In mine and many other peoples opinions, tune the R's low. I'd do around 32-34hz personally. I would not tune them high for everyday driving.

2) 2-2.5 cubes per sub. I'd shoot for about 2.25

3) These subs love the lows. I own 2 10" R's.

Do you think they would sound alright in a 2 cubic foot box? I think that's about all I can fit into the trunk... 2 Cubic feet each, not total...

would still sound good, juss not as good as a bigger box. but its still better then nothing..... or sealed....
