First let me preface this with I don't really know what I am doing here, but trying to learn. I am going to pay someone(probably mobile enclosures) to design my box. But like I said I want to learn and teach my son, so we are trying to figure out a box for his truck, just one little 12" eclipse aluminum sub. So I messed around in winisd
The yellow one is basically what he has now, a sealed prefab with about 1.5 cubic feet. The green is a vented enclosure, and the other three are 4th order. The light blue is just the way winisd spit it out, the red I messed with the front chamber volume and the dark blue I messed with the tuning freq. I am kinda partial to the red, it looks like it should be decent for music and if he wanted to it might meter decent at the freq where it peaks. But I could be totally off base on that, like I said this part I am still learning.
Which one would you try or what would you do different?
