Are strangers on the internet, looking at a small picture of the car, really gonna be able to give you any valuable information on how long THAT car will last? Use your head man.

I know what you mean but hears the deal... I dont know sh*t about cars, i live in a small town and i need to buy a used car, i really like the cheavy caprice's. I just found a 91 caprice, the guy said it has like 700k miles on it, but on the new tranny and motor there is only 5-10k he also said its not a pos at all, the thing is i have to drive over a hour away to check it out other then the one pic ive seen of it and the exterior is really nice looking and its only $2000 do you think this is worth it?

why do u want such big cars?

they are like driving boats. they bob up and down when u go over bumps.

get something smaller, save urself money.

get an import, repairs cost very little, and u can get a nicer car for less.

Some people prefer the sloshy ride to that of a bumpy ride most small imports offer. Its the 'cadillac feel'.
How nice of an import can you get for $2k? Seriously. And repairs are not a plus for imports friend, that goes in the negative column. Most imports' parts cost more than domestic vehicles.

um yea actually. honda's and toyotas cost nothing to fix?
i guess if u want a boat.
If you think toyota or honda parts, imported, are cheaper than domestic parts... you simply dont know what you are talking about. Imports are notorious for having higher maintenance/parts costs.

It probally went down at 70,000 miles like most chevys do....not 700,000 heck GM would probally give him a free car to have his in a commercial or an add or something if it went that far on the original drive train...
Most Chevy's die at 70k huh? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

If you don't know **** about cars and don't know how to work on them don't even bother with this. Save yourself the headache. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif And def don't reproduce.
