Another car ?

um yea actually. honda's and toyotas cost nothing to fix?
i guess if u want a boat.
If you think toyota or honda parts, imported, are cheaper than domestic parts... you simply dont know what you are talking about. Imports are notorious for having higher maintenance/parts costs.

It probally went down at 70,000 miles like most chevys do....not 700,000 heck GM would probally give him a free car to have his in a commercial or an add or something if it went that far on the original drive train...
Most Chevy's die at 70k huh? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

If you don't know shit about cars and don't know how to work on them don't even bother with this. Save yourself the headache. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif And def don't reproduce.

so if you dont know how to work on cars you should not get one? is that what your saying because if so you should be the one to not reproduce, DICK

Thats a decent car, a chevy v8 is a realiable motor and can go the distance however the 4l60E or 700R4 ****** in that car, not sure what year they switch sucks and will either go the week you buy the car or def before 200k Id say... Those are nice cars in my opinion however if you want a big car thats cheap and reliable your better of with a Ford Panther (Crown Vic, Town Car, Grand Marquis) Their cheaper, more reliable and easier to find however the chevvy is faster and more rare, which is why they cost more. The chevy could also be worked on to be a better car the fords could ever be but from what it seems I highly dought youll be doing that... If you have any questions for me feel free to pm me because I am a mechanic and I do love old big American cars...

No **** smack.

If you're buying a $2000 car, I am assuming that you are not able to spend more on a vehicle. At 150k the chances of it being reliable are slim. If you're not able to work on it and something goes wrong, what are you gonna do then? Nothing, you'll be stuck with a non-working/driveable car that you just spent your hard earned $2k on.

Def do not reproduce.

Also for those of you who are dissing chevys you obviously know nothing about cars, I will agree that newer FWD chevys are junk but in my opinion so is every other FWD car on the road. My friends chevy suburban which is a v8 Rwd truck has 300,000 miles and still going strong... For the person whos S-10 died at 70,000 miles you need to learn how to take care of a much better...

to back up what i said chevy TrailBlazer radiator: 330$ autozone

98 accord radiator: 103$

04 accord: 200$

98 crown vic radiator: 160$

04 crown vic: 210$

98 corolla radiator: 130$

04 corolla: 195$

also the imports with notoriously high repair and maintenance are: volvo, vw, audi, bmw, mercedes, and other exotics.

apparently u dont know that most toyotas are made in the US now...
Apparently you dont know that 'most' toyota's are ASSEMBLED in the US now, at best. Nor do you realize the small fraction of the actual cost of producing a car (ie: jobs, salaries, equipment, etc etc) is in the actual assembly. Grats for being duped by the 'made in USA' scam foreign auto makers have bestowed on our less intelligent portions of society.

Way to compare the prices of a V8 radiator versus what, a V6's radiator, at best? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
