Another build.. BL 18 in 6 cubes?

I could go bigger, but i'd have to build my own box. What exactly would be the 'difference' between the 15' and the 18' in optimal boxes ? On the same power, would the 18 play louder and lower?
I would rather have a 15 in a properly designed enclosure than an 18 in too small of an enclosure. Both setup in their optimal enclosures of course the 18 wins.

I'd do ~4 net for the 15 and ~6.5 for the 18. The enclosure for the 18 is going to be considerably larger as it requires more port area.
Thank you. The 18' takes up about .25cuft of space (according to Fi's site). How much space would an Aero port take up? Assuming its meant to tune a 6.5cuft box(after displacements) to 32hz? I'm pretty set on using an Aero port, because I heard they take up less internal volume than traditional slot ports, and are easier to swap out.

I would use a minimum of two 6" ports or one 8". Displacment would be ~.6 depending on which you choose. I would personally do a slot port with more port area though.

Why would you do a slot port instead? I am still learning, so bear with me.

I have experience with a fully loaded 15" BL, due to the high motor force it will require a lot of port area to get the maximum output. Example, my box was 6 cubes gross and 4 cubes net, the port area devoured 2 cubes of my box but god dayum that sub slammed the lows with force lol

To utilize more port area. The more port area you have the longer the port needs to be to achieve the same tuning. Which in this case makes it harder to use an aero because you would need to bend it to get more port area.
