Another BTL build 4.2 cu ft @ 33hz - 62 sq in port

If you are asking me - it is fleckstone. I tried to find bedliner in a can but couldn't (didnt look very hard). Fleckstone was easy to find.
I was wondering what was better. but you answered my question //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Mine didn't turn out great when I used fleckstone and a clear coat:

It didn't even out and that was standing about 6 feet away from it and less than a second long bust for about three sprays and it came out that thick. I didn't like it nor did I like how it never really cured. Even to this day I can rub on it decently hard and it comes off kind of gummy.

Actually I checked the can and it isnt "Fleckstone" brand it is Rustoleum's version.

I used two gray primer undercoats with 2 light stone coats - leaving gray showing thru for the first coat. Basically I just followed the directions on the can.

http://www.rustoleum.com/Product.asp?ddf=35&frm_product_id=16&SBL=1 I used the black granite. Got it at Home Depot in the spray paint section.

Ill get close up shots soon. It looks really good in person.

Great work on the box!

Fleckstone is cool stuff, I started off spraying a light coat of it on my amp rack's piece of mdf and ended up sraying way to much trying to even it out. I cleared mine too as shown below. Im still pretty happy with it even though it wasn't the original look i was going for.

Sub arrived and is now installed. Here be the pics of the final steps.

Pre port painting (dunno why I waited on that) test fit.

Port painted and drying. Good look at the stone finish.

Yes, I know the sub has a gangster lean / twist.

It vibrates the living hell out of everything in the truck. Box does not seem to have a real pronounced peak. Every freq seems to be loud. Rear wall and roof go bwwwaaaaaantttttt when I crank it which never seemed to happen on the 13w7 box I last had in there. Probably because this box plays so much louder at higher freq.
