I keep most of the circles from the cut outs, never know when someone might need a ring cut.

ive seen this technique before, fish, (slotting wood to bend it) i was amazed and it has intrigued me..

do you think you loose any stiffness or strength in the structure?

it appears you have some goop in the slots? wood glue?

your boxes are amazing...
