ok makes a little more sense then. imo, id do 1 ohm but thats me, if ur looking to 2 ohm then what was stated earlier is what ud wanna do

as far as an amp go, id get an amp thats 1 ohm stable anyway, just in case u decde to do it that way. sundown, or aq is nice. or a maxxonics.

never dealt with mb quart amps, but i loved my hifonics and love my autotek. so i assume the mb quarts are just as nice

Louder at the same price, I think not. Better sound quality for the same price, yes.

a brutus for the same price or less takes more power and gets quite a bit louder.

i sell the brutus squares for 110 shipped each and they will get louder than a 15" type r

i just did a pair on the dsc2000.1d amp in a hatch for a customer and he can do hairtricks lol

brutus subs are grossly under rated by alot.

Nothing wrong with type-r's. They're amazing for the price. I'm about to buy 2 of them.

A good amp would be an amp that puts out a true 1,500 rms at 1 ohm. Like my amp, a Rockford Fosgate T1000.1BD. Mine isn't for sell but i'm just saying it's a good amp.
