Or I may just tune low and make a block seal for the port and be able to interchange it as I want. It's have to be a **** good fit though

Question about the gcon. What's up with the non sewed tinsel leads? They just kinda flop everywhere? Isn't that not too good for the sub?

Not an issue. Personally I prefer loose leads as opposed to stitched or sandwiched. If they do burn up or fail you won't catch the sub on fire and they're easily and cheaply repaired.

Guess I never thought of it like that. And I do like to pound for an hour at least sometimes longer and like 2 to 3 times a day so heat will be present lol. So you guys still think the SSA gcon would be better than the CAB ultra? Cab might be a little louder no?

The ultra will absolutely be louder. But i think the gcon will be more detailed, and linear

I've ran the ultra very nice and loud sub great price and can take the punishment... I threw 2k at it.

I think you'll appreciate either or ...

**I'll say this if your leaning towards gcon they have a 2nd gen on the horizon..that could possibly be around tue same wait time as ordering the previous model and waiting ....and thats if you can still order the 1st gen model

Two ultras

2 ultras would smoke 1 icon in output. Icons arent particularly "loud" subs. They sound excellent, and have solid output, but its far from what i consider a loud sub

2 decent 12s will always smoke one decent 12. Cant comepare that. Iv got a whole neighborhood that will tell you a icon will get obnoxiously loud. But a 1250w 3"vc icon will beat any 750w 2.5vc car audio bargain in ALL aspects of performance (loud)and build quality..all day. But also costs 140 more.. so if you dont want to spend a700 on a pair of subs cab is a steal.(If you just want loud). What about a better more powerful sound quality 15..

Okay. Anybody notice how the skar DDX 12 D4 has a motor force of 31.8 and MMS at 235 and SD of 510cm^2. And I know a box tuned to 32hz would get super low still no?

Looked at EVL but with a bl of barely 12.8 and MMS of 256 and the SD is smaller at 471 but Xmax is at 23.5 one way. DDX Xmax is only 15mm.....thoughts?

Which more so 15 would you recommend for 1500rms then? Maybe an 18 would suit me too? But you can't deal an 18 right?
