I got icons. but you can't go wrong with saa. Build quality and reviews. never heard of one single complaint about a D,G,I,X,ZCON. OR EVIL.gcons are swaeome, made by fi in vegas.. someone here buys 1 every week, cab may have more output just cause i hears gcon is little more of a sq sub than spl.. ask my63bug he has 2 gcons in a 63 bug lol..
You'll be glad you didWell I may consider having a sealed box on the side because I tend to listen to rock music from time to time. And no matter what I know either setup is still going to get stupid loud, so I may save up just a bit more for the two gcons if it really would sound better...

Not to say. They are the end all be all sub and nothing else compares.. but id say a guaranteed win and be extremely happy with...
aren't gcons $50 more than cabs? just to throw it out there 1 sub i been looking at is FI alpha 12 $149 + $20 shipping, they make ssa subs it has the frame of the dcon with 3" coil and almost identical specs (some anyway just not bl) as the gcon if u getting 2 they be pretty good with 750rms eachWell I may consider having a sealed box on the side because I tend to listen to rock music from time to time. I think they're caught up down thereIf sq is important, gcon > ultra. Im a fan of ssa subs. Loved my xcon. Loved my teamates zcons..... wait times leave alot to be desired
I'm a bit confused on this. Does this mean your wanting a ported enclosure in the same area as a sealed box? Then just hook up either one to listen to an aray of music of preference on a single day..??Well I may consider having a sealed box on the side because I tend to listen to rock music from time to time. Sort of. I'm going to have a ported box built first and see how it ends up sounding. And if it sounds great with you know rap and EDM I'll most likely keep it that way. But if I don't like how they sound on rock music. Then I'll stick the sealed box in the car, I know nonmatter what I'm going to hear an feel that bass under meI'm a bit confused on this. Hmm...I see. Might consider a removeable port. One for rap and decaf or whatever, then a port inside another port more towards higher freq's for rock, heavy metal, etc. You would def need a very good box designer for something like this....not some fre-fab or joe shmo off the street.Sort of. That would be a great set up. I was also thinking about tubing my box to maybe around 36ish to get a little better higher feq but I do like the lows a lot. I believe my current crap box is tuned around 42hz or something stupid. And it still seems to hit the lows pretty good but can see major difference with a box at 32hz insteadHmm...I see.
