Just wondering what kind of amp(s) I should be using for these. Their 2 12s, their RMS is 900... But could probbly take somewhere between 1k-1.2k.

IDK though, what amps would you suggest? Ive seen alot about US Amps and Hifonics. And for price range... IDK preferabbly under 500... but for now it doesnt matter because Im just saving up for the amp(s).

I need to make an official announcement... but I have decided that if you pair an SAZ-1500D with Stereo Integrity woofers I will cover 0.5 ohm usage under warranty. If you have an invoice for a package deal from one of our dealers, or can otherwise verify your usage on SI woofers with two seperate invoices you are covered.

If you e-mail Lukas at Audio Junkies or Ben at Low-Hz, either one of them is authorized to sell Sundown Audio at below the listed MSRP, it is simply the MAP and not their minimum sale price -- so you can maintain your $500 amp budget and receive a package with full warranty coverage.

Hope that helps.

and what would you rate them at with a 0.5 ohm load?

is that for daily usage or burps?

that could be one hell of a good deal!

In another thread, the owner of sundown said it'd be good for over 2000. I think people have been running them at .5 ohm daily with no problems.

if by people, you mean me, then yes. yes we have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

they handle 1/2 ohm like its a joke, mine dont even get warmed up. havent done any output testing, but if i can get my clamp fixed, then i would gladly test the 1/2 ohm output of them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . after i get some voltage stability of course.

At 0.5 ohms you should be looking at 2000 watts or so. Hoss has been running his daily VERY HARD for some time now.

I only warranty 0.5 ohm operation on Stereo Integrity Mags and BMs, keep that in mind.

So if something were to happen running it at .5 ohms, you're only covered if you own a certain brand subwoofer?

That doesnt seem right.

Either your product can handle the .5 ohm load, or it cant. Not really fair to have it warrantied only if you use a certain brand of subs.......

Having said that, of course its your company, so its your call.

I'd get the IA 20.1 for the pair of Mags, to the original poster.
